Paranormal, Religious and Occult Nonfiction:
Magical Use of Thought Forms: A Proven System of Mental & Spiritual Empowerment by Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki & J. H. Brennan. The authors claim that you can learn how to become a werewolf and do other magical feats by using the techniques in this book. The Fox's Craft in Japanese Religion and Folklore: Shapeshifters, Transformations and Duplicities by Michael Bathgate. An examination of fox transformation legends in the context of religion and folklore, with an emphasis on conflicts between Shinto and Buddhism.
He Came to Set the Captives Free by Rebecca Brown. A fundamentalist Christian book swirling with urban legends, it advocates extreme panic about witchcraft and it also claims that werewolves exist. Shapeshifter Tarot by D. J. Conway and Sirona Knight. A book and deck of tarot cards packaged together.
Shifting Shape, Shaping Text: Philosophy and Folklore in the Fox Koan by Steven Heine. A philosophical/religious text about the symbolism of folklore and Zen Buddhism. Monsters: An Investigator's Guide to Magical Beings by John Michael Greer. This is a handbook for cryptozoologists, or, as most people would call them, monster hunters. But this is aimed at the far-out fringe cryptozoologists who believe in magic and fairies, and it contains a chapter on how to hunt werewolves.
Children of the Matrix by David Icke. According to the author (who has probably watched too many episodes of The X-Files) human society has always been controlled by evil demon/alien beings who are reptilian shapeshifters. Witches, Werewolves and Fairies by Claude Lecouteux. Using examples from folklore, the author tries to reconstruct beliefs and magical practices from the Middle Ages.
Shapeshifting: Shamanic Techniques for Global and Personal Transformation by John M. Perkins. A strange book about shapeshifter folklore from South America and symbolic environmentalism, all linked up into a New Age framework. Totem Magic: Dance of the Shapeshifter by Yasmine Galenorn. Totemism is a system of beliefs found in many aboriginal cultures.
